What we collect, and why
Version 2 · 27 September 2026
The short version
- This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. It loads nothing from third parties.
- If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, your optional answers and a record of your consent. We use them only to email you about early access and the founding offer.
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- To see, change or delete your data, email hello@syntrolabs.com.
Who is responsible
SyntroLabs, based in the Netherlands, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@syntrolabs.com.
1. The waitlist
What we collect. Your email address; your role and your answer to the founding-member question, if you give them (both optional); the exact consent wording you agreed to, its version and the time you signed up.
Why, and on what legal basis. To email you when early access opens and about the founding offer. The basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We look at your optional answers only in aggregate, to decide whether and how to launch.
Where it is stored. In a file on our web server and as a notification email in our business mailbox. Both are provided by Hostinger, our hosting and email provider, which acts as our processor.
How long. Until you ask us to remove it, and in any case no longer than 24 months after you sign up.
We don't send you anything when you sign up. The first email you get from us will be about early access.
2. Security
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it records technical data such as IP addresses in its logs, which Hostinger keeps for a limited period for security and operations.
To stop abuse of the sign-up form we keep a short-lived counter per visitor. We store it under a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself, and delete it within 24 hours. Our technical logs never contain email addresses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or give it to you in a portable format. You can object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect processing that happened before.
Email hello@syntrolabs.com from the address concerned. We reply within one month.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own EU country.
4. Other things you should know
- We don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.
- This site isn't intended for anyone under 18.
- If we change this notice we'll update the version and date above. If a change affects what you agreed to, we'll ask for your consent again.
